Today I have a fun fall layout to share with you. Earlier this week Design Team member, Kathy Helton shared a spooky Halloween layout so thought I would create a layout that’s perfect for your pumpkin patch and fall pictures. I used photo sleeves and it consists of six 6” x 4” blocks. I really love this style of scrapping – it is fun. In my Instructions and Dimensions I will outline each block – starting from the top left.

Instructions
- Block 1: Cut 6” x 4” base and ink. Cut the scallop frame, apply foam tape and adhere to the the base. Cut the photo and adhere to the frame.
- Block 2: Cut 6” x 4” base and ink. Cut the corn stalk and adhere to the base. Cut and assemble the Happy Fall title and adhere to the base. I added some buttons with twine to accent.
- Block 3: Cut 6” x 4” base and ink. Cut the acorn accent, assemble and adhere to the base. I added some foam tape to the leaves and acorn. The journaling is done on .5” high strips. Cut to match the length of your words. I hand wrote mine but you can print on your printer too. I used flair from Paper Play Studio to accent.
- Block 4: Cut 6” x 4” base and ink. Cut your photo, add foam tape and adhere to the base.
- Block 5: Cut 6” x 4” base and ink. Cut the brown rectangle, photo and stitched frame and layer on the base. I threaded some Trendy Twine thru my frame. Cut and assemble the pumpkin. Use foam tape to add interest.
- Block 6: Cut 6” x 4” base and ink. Cut the memories caption, larger pumpkin and squirrel. Assemble and adhere to the base. Accent with a few buttons.

- Many different companies make these sleeves – I used sleeves from We R Memory Keepers. If you have not tried this style of scrapping give it a try, it is great fun!
- I kept my blocks with photos simple to draw focus to the photos. The photo in block 5 had an empty spot on the right side so I added the pumpkin and twine to accent.
- I used the same patterned paper in blocks 2, 3 and 6. This helps to keep the design consistent – try not to use too many different types of patterns to avoid a busy layout. I also staggered the photos.
- Want to try a new technique? Try sanding the edges of your photos, it gives them a rustic look which was perfect for this fall layout. See blocks 1 and 4.
- Paper collection is from Echo Park’s Reflections Fall. I purchased the digital kit and printed papers as 12x12 and 6x6.
