Founded by Mary in 2009, SVGCuts began with a Cricut Expression machine and a passion for digital illustration. Mary had left the corporate world and explored her creativity. She soon listed her designs online, marking the start of SVGCuts.
Early challenges included Cricut's limitations and a brief period of uncertainty when Cricut removed SVG compatibility. However, support from other cutting machines like Silhouette Cameo and Black Cat kept SVGCuts thriving.
