Who doesn't like a bit of sweets now and then? I try to make little boxes (holiday specific) to keep in the nurses station at work for candies. I thought this turned out cute! I used American Crafts for the solid color cardstock and the designer paper is Count Down to Christmas from My Minds Eye.

Directions
1. To create the box, cut the 9 x 10 inch square and score on all sides at 3 inches. On the 9 inch side, cut on the score line up to the score line of the 10 inch side. Fold in ends, adhere, and repeat for other side.
2. Open the holly_jolly_top.svg and highlight on the mat. Right click and select "break apart". Select only the "holly" part of this cut and make it a shadow/blackout at size listed in the dimension chart. Ink edges, put the regular cut (holly_jolly_top.svg) onto this for a layered look.
3. Cut all pieces from the Rock Around The Christmas Tree. I inked all the edges before assembly. Attach the holly_jolly_bottom.svg to the holly_jolly_bottom.svg shadow/blackout layer. I used dimensional adhesive.
4. Attach "holly" piece you just created to the base layer in appropriate space. Attach holly_jolly_mid1.svg to the appropriate area. Tuck the left edge behind. Attach holly_jolly_mid2.svg in the appropriate spaces. Again, I used dimensional adhesive. Do what ever doodling you want to do at this point. Add gems and bling now as well.
5. Attach entire piece to the side of the box you made earlier. Keep in mind the point of the arrow goes a little lower, so place high enough up that it will sit on the table correctly, without damaging that piece.
6. Layer pieces of your long strip for the handle and adhere together, attach to the sides of the box . I used the score tape for this, as it is strong holding. I laced a button and put on for interest.
7. Fill with candies and serve.
Have fun making this project. This could sit on an end table, counter, in an office, or anywhere really. Fill it with whatever you'd like. Could even be for a small gift item.
Happy Holidays, Cheryl
