Make this cute card for a wide variety of occasions, especially Back-to-School! Show a special student, teacher, friend or co-worker that you're thinking of them. How it looks depends on the patterned paper and colors you use! It would make a great Christmas-themed "Santa's Naughty or Nice Notebook" card or a "Witch's Spell Book" card for Halloween.
Patterned paper, and embellishments are from the Public Library Collection by October Afternoon. Date stamp is from a Dear Lizzy collection by American Crafts (may be retired). "Have a Great Day" stamp is from Hero Arts (CL351). Wire is 16 gauge "dead soft wire" in bronze by Bead Landing (from Michaels), however other types of wire would work great too. The spiral shape was created by wrapping the wire tightly around a half-inch diameter marker about 16 times, gently pulling it apart to create evenly-spaced bends and then carefully twisting it through the holes and trimming off the excess on the ends. No envelope is included because of the dimensional spiral wire (card will have to be presented without an envelope). The finished card measures about 5 x 6".
