If you’re planning to make the Winterberry Tea Shoppe when it arrives on December 9, here’s everything I’m using so you can gather your supplies ahead of time. A few of you asked for this early, and I’m happy to share so you can shop your stash or place an order with plenty of lead time.
Cardstock
- 7 sheets of white cardstock (12×12")
- 2 sheets of black cardstock (12×12")
- Scrap of green cardstock
- 6–8 sheets of patterned cardstock
I’m using eight papers from the Simple Vintage Believe collection by Simple Stories.

Adhesives & Finishing Touches
- Glue (I like Bearly Art and Scotch Quick-Dry)
- Ink pads for a gentle aged/vintage look: 1004 & 1025
(I’m using a mix of warm, cozy tones from two different sets.) - Distress Ink in Picket Fence (with a dauber for application) to add a frosty look to the black base
Lighting & Windows
This project does include an interior glow, so you’ll need:
- Vellum (for lining the windows from the inside)
- LED fairy lights string in warm white
The glow through the vellum adds so much charm and brings the whole thing to life.
I’ll be sharing cutting tips, assembly details, and more behind-the-scenes photos soon.
I cannot wait to see your little storefronts all lit up for the season and beyond!
~Mary 🙂
