Create a whimsical Fairy Cottage and four other all-new projects!<\/p>\n
The finished Birthday Cake is about eight inches tall. The finished Fairy Cottage measures about 11\u201d wide, 11\u201d tall and almost 11\u201d deep. The finished Gable Box measures 5.8\u201d wide, seven inches high and 3.5\u201d deep. The finished Gate Card measures 4.4\u201d wide and 6.5\u201d high. The finished Trinket Box measures seven inches wide, just over two inches high, and almost five inches deep. (The actual interior space is a bit smaller because of how the lid and bottom extend out in a scalloped shape.)<\/p>\n
Patterned paper shown is the Enchanted Forest Collection from Graphic 45. Birthday Cake - Features one (optional) battery-powered tealight candle inside the top for the \u201cflame.\u201d Can be made \u201cplain\u201d (without cutout designs and\/or without hole for candle. Fairy Cottage - Illuminated using a string of warm white LED lights from Amazon. They\u2019re 30 feet long and on a thin silver wire and they plug into the wall. I coiled the lights into three segments and fed them inside the houses. Embossing folders used: A2 Woodgrain by The Paper Studio, Burlap by Sizzix, Layered Scallops by Echo Park, Modern Vines and Swiss Dots by Cuttlebug. Arrow embellishments are Game Spinners by Tim Holtz. I also affixed some yellow Swarovski crystals from Hobby Lobby and a teardrop-shaped champagne colored crystal bead from Hobby Lobby. I created the little porch \u201cfence\u201d using twigs and thin black cord from Hobby Lobby. I purchased the twigs at Michaels, but you could of course use twigs from outside. \ud83d\ude42
\nThe orange glitter tape around the base edge is from Michaels (Recollections). Gable Box - The project shown is finished off with some brown leather cord and an embellishment from Hobby Lobby. The embossing folder used for the front of the trim \u201cflap\u201d is Ranunculus by Darice. Gate Card - The finished project shown features an optional adhesive black glitter enamel \u201cdot\u201d and the label is affixed inside with two brads. The stamp shown inside the card is from a stamp set from the Enchanted Forest Collection by Graphic 45. Stampable area measures just over three inches wide and just over one inch high. The card interior can also be made \u201cplain\u201d (without the circle and\/or label. Trinket Box - can also be made with a \u201cplain\u201d lid. Padlock embellishment shown on front is from Michaels and ring embellishments are from Hobby Lobby.<\/p>\n
