Sometimes when we have a lot of people over for holidays and parties, it helps to have some extra trash cans, but I also noticed that guests frequently ask which cans they should throw various things into. So to save us all the effort of wondering and asking, I put these vinyl designs on some plastic cans from the home improvement store. It was my first time working with vinyl, and I was surprised at how easy the whole process was! These are great for stashing at the "outskirts" of a party to make it more convenient for guests, and they sure do look nicer than the cardboard boxes I've used in the past.
Size your elements to whatever size you think will work best with the cans you're using. For the plain "tall kitchen cans" that I used, I sized the recycling design to eight inches wide, and the "trash" design to 9.2" wide. Happy crafting!
